Always knitted but have compoments like faux leather handles, beads, different fabrics, jewelry, whatever I can find to make the handbags different. I'm thinking of new approaches to designing all the time. Each bag is not like the next.
My bags are all unique in design and function. All are hand knitted and put together by me. They are not mass produced. Each one is a work of art. As unique as the woman who carries them.
I have started writing articles and have been asked to do some interveiws. It's an exciting time for me. With that said here are some new designs.
Inspired by the classic fisherman style cable knit sweaters I have knitted a cream colored Handbag. It features a scrolling cable at the top and the other half of the bag has a textured stitch called moss stitch or seed stitch as it is also known as.

As always I added the lining. I chose a floral design. I liked the watercolored effect of the flowers. The bag closes with a magnetic snap and a drawstring closure at the middle of the bag.

This next bag is knitted in a lace pattern in burgandy chenille. It's a cute little bag. It would complete an outfit of a sweater, jeans and heels going around town or a more dressy casual occasion.

I found this wonderful brocade fabric that really pulls the design together with just a touch of it for the flap. Then I found this faux leather material that i put in back of the lace pattern. I not only did this for stability of the bag but to add to luxury of the different textures.
