Erik's Big Day!


 All the students wrote and illustrated their own stories. They had a publishing party today. My son is 7 years old and has autism. This is his special ed class. It has taken tremendous courage to get in front of the room and speak. He has come such a long way and we are proud of him!

Good for Eric! I understand just how hard that must of been. He has really come a long long way! Good for both of you!!
I remember just how hard it was for my son to get up in front of people. Derek was in a special ed class as well for austism and they did a holiday program just for the parents. He was the red nose reindeer lol.

Derek is now 25 years old.. funny how things stick in your mind. :)
